A BILL to amend article one-c, chapter fifteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section five, relating to allowing retired national guard members to continue to work as operations and maintenance guards.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article one-c, chapter fifteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section five, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1C. STATE RETIRED LIST AND HONORARY MILITIA.
§15-1C-5. Operations and maintenance guard duty

Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, retired national guard members who remain physically and otherwise able to work at the various armories as operations and maintenance guards, shall be allowed to do so.



NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to allow retired national guard members to work as operations and maintenance guards at national guard armories.
